Smoked Salmon Dip

This dip is a great make-ahead for any holiday party. Serve it with assorted vegetable dippers or your favorite crackers.
•    4 oz. smoked salmon (lox style works best)
•    1/3 C. finely chopped red onion
•    1 to 2 tbs. prepared horseradish
•    1 8-oz. carton sour cream or whipped cream cheese
•    Salt and black pepper
•    Snipped fresh chives
•    Cucumber slices
In a bowl, finely flake salmon. Add onion, horseradish and sour cream or cream cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let stand at least 15 minutes or refrigerate up to 24 hours. Stir before serving and garnish with chives and sliced cucumbers.
